Dr Ramojela holds a PhD in Media and Communication from RMIT University. He spent his first year of doctoral studies at the University of Southampton, UK persuing film and broadcasting studies. He also holds a Master in Visual and Media Arts from Emerson College, Boston - USA, as well as Television Broadcasting and Production from Columbia College, Chicago - USA. Dr Ramojela is currently teaching in the Department of Media Studies at the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû. As a professional scholar, Dr Ramojela has participated in local and international productions. The most outstanding production that he worked on as a line - producer was 'Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement'Ìýdocumentary in Botswana in 2018. Dr Ramojela is passionate in seeing the local film and television bridging the gap and being recognized by the international community.Ìý He presented papersÌýand moderated at media conferences both locally and internationally.Ìý ÌýHe moderated at Botswana Communication Regulatory Authority'sÌý conference titled,Ìý 'The future of broadcasting in the era of emerging technologies'.Ìý Dr Ramojela presented his paper on 'Children's television content in Botswana: Policy and regulation in a developing country'ÌýÌýat the Sixth International Conference on Social Science and Education at Cornell University, New York - USA.Ìý His documentary on 'Love killings in Botswana"Ìýpremiered at Roxbury Film Festival, Boston
Dr Ramojela is engaged in teaching both theoretical and practical courses in the Department of Media Studies.Ìý His courses include: Introduction to Film and video;ÌýBasics of television production; Basics of Video Production; TV & Video Drama Scripting & Production; Television News Scriptwriting and Production; Television & Video Documentary Scriptwrting and Production, Current Cinema.Ìý Dr Ramojela also guides and supervises final year students' projects.
