Brief Biography

Christian John Makgala is a Professor of History and Political Economy, and comes from the small town of Morwa in the Kgatleng District of Botswana. He got BA and PGDE from 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû, MPhil and PhD from University of Cambridge.

Professor Makgala, is the Editor of the Botswana Notes and Records journal since 2008.

For community service he has been a member of Botswana Society Board for more than 15 years. He is also a longstanding member of the Board of Phuthadikobo Museum in Mochudi. He occasionally gives keynote speeches cultural and historical events organised by different communities in Botswana.
