Mrs Thapelo Sediadie is currently a PhD student in Statistics. She holds a Maters Degree in Statistics from the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû and B.A Social SciencesÌý from the same institution.

Brief Biography

Thapelo Sediadie is statistician and lecturer in the Department of Statistics, 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû.She gained extensive knowledge on the practical application of statistical methodsÌý before joining the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû in 2012. .

Mrs Sediadie has extensive experience in the analysis of quantitative data for small and large complex data sets. She gained experience in survey design and estimation methods for national household surveyÌý whilst at Statistics Botswana. Ms Sediadie participated as a training personnel in the field of survey methodology, supporting various Statistics Botswana stakeholders. ForÌý seven years, she has taught a number of courses encompassingÌý broad areas like probability, time series and survey research methods. She is currently pursuing her PhD study.

My research interest encompass all aspects of survey methodology, thus the study of sources of errors in surveys which involves the bias and the variability that affect the quality of data, with more focus on non-response and measurement errors.
