Thato Katlego Oleteng is a lecturer in Chinese Studies programme, under the Faculty of Humanities at the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû. She currently teaches Mandarin Chinese language at Intermediate level (Third year students) and advanced level (Final year students). She is a young academic researcher who is interested in research that looks into Mandarin Chinese language teaching and learning, reading in Chinese as well as Chinese- English translation and Interpretation.
Ms Oleteng did her BA (Special Education) at the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû. After graduation, she joined the teaching community and worked as a teacher for four years. She then applied for an opportunity to further her studies in China. She studied Mandarin Chinese and upon her return worked as a translator and interpreter at various Chinese companies, then later joined the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû teaching Mandarin Chinese.
