Ms Tlhobogang is a lecturer in the Communication and 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû Skills Unit and offers communication courses in the faculties of Science and Social Sciences. Prior to joining CSSU she taught at Molepolole College of Education, offering communication courses to pre-service teachers studying for a Diploma in Secondary Education. As a media and communication specialist she contributes to the development of strategies that promote learner participation and engament through integration of traditional and contemporary teaching approaches.
Ms Tlhobogang's area of specialisation in digital technologies involves exploiting online platforms in socio-cultural, economic and political contexts. She has applied her knowledge in various ways such as hosting seminars andÌýlive-tweetingÌýof conference proceedings during theÌýinternational conference on Race, Identity and Globalisation in Southern Africa and Beyond. This was a way of increasing audience engagement and promotingÌýinformation and knowledge dissemination beyond academic spheres.Ìý

Ms Tlhobogang has served in the national task force committee that conducted a skills audit among education professionals and facilitated the transformation of the education system to Outcome Based Education (OBE), Ministry of Basic Education Botswana (2016-2018).
