Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering and related areas; (ii) Supervise both undergraduate and graduate student research projects; (iii) Conduct research and also complement existing research activities in the area; (iv) Participate in other academic and professional activities of the department; (v) Render professional service and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants should (i) have a PhD in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related areas; (ii) at least Nine (9) years of relevant teaching experience at a university or comparable institution; (iii) a minimum of 24 pieces of research products (e.g. articles, book chapters, peer-reviewed conference proceedings, etc.) published by recognized publishers. Twelve (12) of these must be articles in refereed/accredited journals in internationally recognized indexing databases. The remaining Twelve (12) publications could be journal articles, book chapters, peer-reviewed conference proceedings, etc., published by recognized publishers; (iv) An academic book may be equivalent to a maximum of 4 articles in refereed/accredited journals, depending on the quality of standing; (v) sustained research output: a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed publications every four years; (vi) Sustained research activity: on-going externally supported research (e.g., funded/commissioned); (vii) paper/poster presentations at international conferences at least once every two years; (viii) be lead and/or single author in at least one-quarter of the required journal publications.
