Level 2 Kiswahili Language course aims at helping students develop a positive, constructive, and practical approach to complex written and oral communication for educational purposes and self-improvement. The course enhances the four language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking and provides practical language exercises in everyday situations such as introducing oneself, giving directions, writing short documents like a business letter, a report, etc. This course further exposes learners to common usage problems in speaking and writing in Kiswahili. It is aimed at enabling learners to identify usage errors and correct them. The course provides an environment for improving language skills and builds confidence by imparting skills to avoid common language errors in both spoken and written language, coaching in oral presentation skills as well as speech writing and delivery. It therefore requires learners to display and practice communication skills in different contexts.
