Accommodation

Student hostels are available and the university has self-catering apartments at reasonable rates. The 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû Campus Services is in charge of these properties. For details contact: directorcampusservices@ub.ac.bwÌý

However, some apartments for short let are available in Gaborone. There are hotels available, the visitor has a wide range of accommodation options to choose from according to taste and cost

Arrival to UB
  • Arrival to Gaborone is via the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Gaborone. Then catch a taxi to the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû, Gaborone.
  • Also, one can arrive at the capital city of Gaborone via road through South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Buses and taxis ply the UB route at drop-off/bus stations
  • However, on special arrangements, vehicles can be arranged for visitors at discounted rates at their own cost.

Insurance

All foreigners involved in the exchange programme are advised to obtain health insurance, especially before leaving their country. The health insurance providers can provide information on this and all necessary documentation. Ensure that your agreement with your health insurance includes reimbursement of costs of treatment abroad.Ìý
