1.1.1. Applicants with a Diploma in EducationalÌýManagement shall enter at Level 300 of theÌýdegree programme. Relevant work experienceÌýin an educational setting shall be an addedÌýadvantage.
1.1.2. Applicants with a Diploma in Education or itsÌýequivalent shall be admitted into either Level 200Ìýor 300 of the Degree Programme on the basis ofÌýaccumulated credits in the area of educationalÌýmanagement. Relevant work experience in anÌýeducational setting shall be an added advantage.
1.1.3. Holders of a Teaching Certificate plus BGCSE withÌýat least three grades at a minimum of grade CÌýwill enter at level 100. Relevant work experienceÌýin an educational setting shall be an addedÌýadvantage.
1.1.4. Holders of a Teaching Certificate or its equivalentÌýwho do not meet the requirements above butÌýwho have experience in an educational settingÌýwill be admitted into level 100. ApplicantsÌýseeking admission through this route shall submitÌýrecommendation letters and proof of experienceÌýin teaching and evidence of prior learning.
GENERAL PROVISION
1.1.5. The B Ed Educational Management is a four-yearÌýsingle major degree programme. All students areÌýrequired to take core courses, General EducationÌýCourses (GEC), Electives and Optional CoursesÌýas defined in General Regulation 00.212. TheÌýnormal workload for a full time student shall beÌýas stipulated in General Regulation 00.61
1.1.6. At the end of Level 100, the Grade Point AverageÌý(GPA) shall be calculated on the basis ofÌýlecture hour equivalent as specified in GeneralÌýRegulation 00.8 and 00.9. Each course must beÌýpassed as per general regulation 00.845.
1.1.7. By the end of the programme 1/3 of the overallÌýcredits for the B.Ed programme must come fromÌýthe electives and General Education courses andÌýthe remaining 2/3 must come from the core (Primary and Area of Concentration) and optional courses.

3.1. All courses except EPE214, EPA300 EPA304, EPE419, EPM331, EPM431, EPP302, EPP405, EPP406 and
EPE442 shall be assessed as stipulated in generalÌýregulation 00.8. EPE214 would be assessed byÌýpractical presentations. For EPA304 assessmentsÌýshall be based on tests/assignments (40%) and theÌýresearch proposal (60%). EPE442 assessments shallÌýbe based on the research report only. EPE419 andÌýEPA300 will be assessed by Tests/assignments andÌýProject Work. EPM331 & EPM431 would be assessedÌýby assignments and presentations. Failure withoutÌýa good cause to submit continuous assessmentÌýwork within 24 hours of the due date shall carry
a penalty of 5percentage marks. Failure to submitÌýmarks within 48hours of the due date shall carry aÌýpenalty of 50percentage marks. Failure to submitÌýthe work within one week from the due date shallÌýincur a zero mark.
At the end of each semester the Grade Point Average (GPA)Ìýshall be calculated on the basis of the total weighted
scores divided by the number of credits. CumulativeÌýGrade point Average (CGPA) is calculated as perÌýGeneral Regulation 00.86. Retaking and ProbationÌýshall be considered as per General, Regulation 00.92Ìýand 00.93
In order to be awarded a degree, a student shall have accumulated a minimum number of 120 credits at the end of theÌýprogramme as stipulated in General RegulationÌý00.851 and 00.852
