The number of the Chinese living in Botswana has increased. As of 2009 Chinese formed the largest group of self-employment holders in Botswana. It is therefore the responsibility of the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû to bridge the cultural and language gap In Botswana. The Chinese Studies Programme is a window through which we hope our students will learn and explore issues around China.
Our programme is made up of two crucial components:Â learning Chinese language and Chinese culture. The major of Chinese Studies focuses on history, culture. Beyond the courses offered in the Chinese Studies programme, students may choose an array of courses which include marketing, Language and literature courses, media studies, philosophy and religion and sociology.

Our Student have the opportunity to spend a year in one of our partner universities in China. This will allow them to fully interact with the Chinese.
