Mavis is a lecturer in the department of Economics. She joined the university in 2012, as a Staff Development Fellow (SDF) in the department of economics. She holds aÌýMasters Degree in Economics from the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused inÌýEconomics from theÌýUniversity of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing,ÌýChina.ÌýHer research mainly focuses on income inequality, FDI,Ìýunemployment and economic growth. Her areas of teaching specialisation are public sector economic and quantitative methods.ÌýMs. Kolobe is also actively involved in consultancy field research, mainly in labour market outcomes in Botswana.Ìý
