I have over a decade of clinical ÌýexperienceÌýin Obsterics and Gynaecology and I am passionate about the improvement of maternal and child health outcomes.IÌýcompleted myÌý internship training at Mulago National teaching hospital.I then served at a faith based district hospital Kiwoko HospitalÌýfor 3 years after which I joined my residency programÌý at the Makerere University Medical School/Mulago national teaching and referral Hospital. I then worked at a public Mbale regional referral Hospital thatÌýwas also an OBGYÌý medical student elective rotationÌýsite and medicalÌýinternship training site as a Specialist OBGYÌýand adjunct lecturer at the Mbale School of Clinical officers.I joined 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû July 2012 as one of the 3Ìýfounding faculty of the department of Obstetrics and GynaecologyÌýin August 2012Ìýas lecturer and thereafter as senior lecturer.I served as Acting Head of department 2018/2019.I have beenÌý involved in the developingÌý and growth of teaching and assessment materials forÌý the undergraduate programme and more recently with the development of the OBGYÌýresidency programme that was launched January 2020.I also offer full range of specialist OBGY clinicalÌýservices at the Princess Marina Hospital UB Medical school teaching site.

I teach general Obstetrics and Gynaecology to both Junior and senior clerkship OBGY undergraduate rotations in year 3 (SOM 406)Ìýand year 5(SOMÌý 503)Ìýrespectively using the guided PBL education model.I also offer introductory sessions to Maternal Health to year 2 (SOM 303).

I teach residentsÌýduring their clinical apprenticeship at the Princess Marina Hospital as well as in theirÌýformal didactic sessions.
