The 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû invites applications from suitably qualified citizens for the position of Temporary Lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Planning. The selected candidate will primarily teach courses in the Urban and Regional Planning Programme, which is fully accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
¶Ù³Ü³Ù¾±±ð²õ:ÌýThe successful candidate will be expected toÌý(i)Ìýteach courses in Landscape Design, and Urban Planning & Design; (ii)Ìýcarry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.Ìý
Requirements: Applicants should have:Ìý(i)Ìýat least A PhD in Urban Design/Urban Planning or Equivalent;Ìý(ii)Ìýa Master’s Degree in Urban Design/Landscape Architecture or equivalent;Ìý(iii)Ìýa Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or cognate field; (v)Ìýevidence ofÌýregistration or eligibility to register withÌýa recognisable national or international professional body. The following will be an added advantage:Ìý(i)Ìýteaching experience in Urban Design/Landscape Architecture at a university or comparable institution; (ii) Professional experience.
N.B.ÌýIn special circumstances, candidates who do not have a Ph.D. may be considered provided they have;Ìý(i) a Master’s Degree in Urban Design/Landscape Architecture or equivalent;Ìý(ii)Ìýa Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or cognate field with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent (GPA of at least 3.6 on a 5-point scale).
