PART-TIME LECTURER IN URBAN PLANNING & DESIGN (1 POSITION)

Applications are invited for the position of Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Architecture& Planning
Duties:ÌýThe successful candidate will (i) teach undergraduate and postgraduate theoretical courses in the Urban and Regional Planning programme.Ìý(ii) Teach Design courses (iii) carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: candidates must possess (i) A PhD. in Urban Design or equivalent (ii)Ìýshow evidence of engagement in research and service. The following will be added advantages: (i) evidence of Governance and Social Engagement; (ii) Experience in Academia or Practice will be an added advantage.
N.B In special circumstances a Master’s Degree in Urban Design or Equivalent Design Specialism with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or cognate fieldÌýwith at least a 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; may be considered.
