PART-TIME LECTURER IN ARCHITECTURE (1 POSITION)
VACANCY NO: FET/AP06/2022
Duties:ÌýThe successful candidate would be expected to teach courses in Architectural Design, Building Materials and Construction, Building Technology or History of Architecture. Additional responsibilities will include academic research and any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:ÌýApplicants should possess; (i) A PhD. in Architecture or equivalent (ii)Ìýshow evidence of engagement in research and service. The following will be added advantages: (i) evidence of Governance and Social Engagement; (ii) Experience in Academia or Practice will be an added advantage.
Short listed applicants will be called for an interview, where they will be expected to bring/present their portfolio.
NB: In special circumstances an applicant with Master’s Degree in Architecture or cognate or area with demonstrable quality design experience (Portfolio) and a five years B. Arch or equivalent professional degree(s) in Architecture with at least a 2(i) classification may be considered for appointment.
