Applications are invited forÌýthe positionÌýofÌýDemonstratorsÌýin the Department of Industrial Design and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.Ìý

Duties: ÌýTheÌýDepartment offers courses in the above areas to the students of Bachelor of DesignÌý& Technology Education andÌýBachelor of Industrial DesignÌýprogrammes. DemonstratorsÌýare required to instruct and demonstrate the practical aspects of these courses.ÌýÌýDesign materials and processesÌýincludesÌýworking with the following materials: metal, wood,Ìýpolymers,Ìýother manufacturing materialsÌýand technologies for processing the materials.ÌýÌýÌýAdditive manufacturingÌýincludes:Ìý3D printing, rapid prototyping, selective laser sintering, additive fabrication, computer-aided design and computer-aided Manufacture.Ìý

Requirements:ÌýÌýApplicants must possess at leastÌýaÌýµþ²¹³¦³ó±ð±ô´Ç°ù’sÌýDegree in Design & Technology,ÌýIndustrial Design,ÌýComputer-Aided Design, Manufacturing Engineering,ÌýAdditive manufacturing,Ìýand/or any related field. Work experience and university level demonstration experience will be an added advantage. Applicants must specify the area in which their applicationsÌýshould be considered.ÌýÌý
