The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Real Estate with specialization in any of the following fields: land administration, valuation, facilities management, rating, estate agency or property development appraisal.Ìý The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses besides those outlined above. In addition, the candidate is expected to undertake research and provide community and professional services to the 4844³ÉÈËÃâ·Ñ¸£Àû and the public at large.Ìý A successful candidate at Associate Professor level will be expected to provide leadership to the Real Estate Section within the Department.
Senior Lecturer:ÌýCandidates should have aÌýBachelor’s degreeÌýin Real Estate, Land Management and Valuation, Land Economics or related field with at least a second class upper division [2(i)] or GPA of at least 3.6 pass degree awarded by a recognized university; (ii) aÌýMaster’s degreeÌýin Real Estate, Property Management, Property Investment Appraisal, Land Economics or related field; (iii) a minimum ofÌý3Ìýyears teaching experience at a university or comparable institution; (iv) cumulative and sustained record of good research and publications with a minimum ofÌý6Ìýpieces of publicationsÌý4Ìýof which are peer reviewed journal articles reflecting a spread of national regional and international journals and/or publishing outlets; (v) lead and/or single authored in at leastÌý2Ìýrefereed journal articles or book chapters; Ìý(vi) evidence of engagement in service. ERB membership and practicing certificate. A relevant PhD qualification will be an added advantage.

The curriculum vitae (CV) should contain a detailed list of publications: clearly specifying titles of publications, dates published, name(s) of publishers, name(s) of co-authors if any, and number of pages. The publications should be categorized into: books, monographs, chapters in books, refereed and non-refereed journals, consultancies etc. The CV should also have a detailed list of courses taught and the levels for which they were taught.
